360 Degree Survey - a tool to evaluate your employees from all
viewpoints. Obtain feedback from supervisors, peers, subordinates, customers,
vendors, and other external stakeholders.
360 Degree Survey Case Study
A large regional bank contacted NBRI to conduct Employee 360 Degree Surveys as part of
its newly implemented performance management system. Implementing 360 Degree Surveys
was a solution to one of the Root Causes identified by the recently completed NBRI
Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Each employee was asked to rate their peers, subordinates, and supervisors. With a 98%
response rate, the results achieved were at a 95% Confidence Level. Management could be
certain that the results of the 360 Degree Surveys truly reflected the perceptions of
each employee's performance.
The survey results were incorporated into the employees' individual performance plans.
Working closely with Human Resources, company managers were able to provide constructive
feedback that enabled employees to improve communication skills, increase responsiveness,
and understand how they are perceived by others in the workforce.
Subsequent Employee Satisfaction Survey results showed significant increases in career
development, interdepartmental relations, and feedback effectiveness. More importantly,
employee engagement rose by 20%, which positively impacted customer relations and intent
to return.

360 degree feedback more accurately reflects employee performance than feedback
received from a single individual. 360 Degree Surveys provide the information needed to
fully evaluate employee skill sets as compared to the demands of their jobs. This
feedback allows you to quickly assess an employee's strengths, areas needing improvement,
and overall competency for their position. Armed with the data from a 360 Degree survey,
an organization can help each employee design their career path, plan training and
development, and help them become a more productive, more engaged, part of the
workforce.
360 Degree Surveys help employees understand their strengths and weaknesses, improve
their skill sets, and guide them to maximize their talents and productivity. Your
organization will benefit from well-trained, well-positioned, satisfied and fully
engaged employees.
The standard NBRI 360 Degree Survey includes 75 questions covering 15 Topics and may
be customized to meet your organization's specific needs.
