Executive Summary
The Executive Summary provides Clients with a written archive of their research
study. Similar to a Master's Thesis, and written by an Organizational
Psychologist, the Executive Summary documents the Method, Results, and
Recommendations of the study.
The methodology of the study includes how the research instrument was
developed, and when and how the survey was deployed so that the study can
be replicated in the future. Results are presented at the Total Company
level for each topic and item individually so that a thorough understanding
of the results is reached. The Executive Summary then presents
the Root Cause Analysis, which
identifies primary driving factors, and provides management with prioritized
recommendations which, when addressed, will result in the greatest amount of
positive change throughout the company.
The Executive Summary is for managers who want to take fast, decisive action to effect
maximum organizational growth.
Employee Survey Summary
Of paramount importance after conducting an employee survey is
the dissemination of information to the employees themselves. While
it is not necessary, nor recommended, to provide all
details to all employees, the Employee Survey Summary, written by an
Organizational Psychologist, provides employees with a high-level
view of several of the positive and negative findings of the
study. This builds credibility for management and the
research, and aids in the alignment of the human resources
toward the corporate goals that result from the study. The
Employee Survey Summary should also be used to announce the
action planning efforts that are forthcoming and which may
involve employees at all levels and cross-functionally. This
continues the focus on and enthusiasm for employee
contributions that was established during survey deployment. Employees
see that their input continues to be valued and as a
result, their relationship with the organization deepens. It
is imperative that the Employee Survey Summary be released
within one week of management's receipt of the Executive
Summary in order to minimize grapevine gossip mongering.
The Employee Survey Summary is for managers who want to implement
action plans quickly and align the human resources concurrently
in order to effect maximum organizational growth.
Customer Survey Summary
"If it's true, it isn't bragging." You've conducted a customer survey and obtained your
results, and you're proud of them! You benchmarked
against other companies and know for a fact that you're a high
performer. It is time to tell your customers! You
have hard data from a third-party scientific research
organization that proves you are doing a lot of things right! Be
sure to give your customers feedback on their input, so they
don't wonder about it, and don't be afraid to brag! It is
imperative that the Customer Survey Summary be released in a
timely fashion, preferably within one week of management's
receipt of the Executive Summary.
Written by an Organizational Psychologist, the Customer Survey
Summary provides customers with a high-level view of the
positive findings of the study. This positive
reinforcement solidifies the perceptions of those who rated
your organization highly, and calls into question the
perceptions of those who did not. This Summary should
also include some of the negative findings and your
organization's commitment to respond to them. This builds
credibility for management and the research, and enhances
customer loyalty. The Customer Survey Summary may also be
used to announce future efforts that may involve customers in
order to continue the focus on and enthusiasm for customer
contributions that were established during the survey period. As
customers see that their input is valued, their relationship
with your organization will deepen.
The Customer Survey Summary is for managers who want
to use the survey as a springboard for developing lasting
relationships with customers.
