For Immediate Release – Addison, Texas, Sep. 30, 2009 - The National Business Research Institute, a world leader in survey research, today announced the promotion of Melissa Barba to Vice President of Research Consulting and Administration.

Ms. Barba joined NBRI in 2006, as a Project Manager, and quickly rose to supervisory and management positions.  In October 2008, she accepted a promotion to Director of Research Consulting.  She honed her already impressive speaking and writing skills during this period.

“Her eagerness to help others and work as a team player earned her respect from her supervisors and peers alike,” said Jan Stringer West, Ph.D., “being a consummate time manager as well, it was clear that Melissa could handle much greater responsibility and authority.”

Ms. Barba received a History degree from the University of Texas and an MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin.
