The Length of the Survey
NBRI surveys are typically 20 (customer surveys) to
125 (employee surveys) questions, including
company logo, an opening paragraph, demographics, and instructions. More
importantly, however, NBRItems© are
short, concise, clearly written statements that get right to the
point, producing actionable data. They
take only seconds to rate, so
125 questions may be used in one survey and respondents will
still be able to complete it in 20 minutes! It is very
important that employees and customers are not asked to complete
surveys that are too lengthy and that they are not asked to complete surveys
too frequently (see best practices), but
while you're collecting information, it is important
to get all of the information that you need to make informed business
decisions.
